Tony is imprisoned, while the malicious neighbor later purchases the home at a meager price. Thus, the criminal achieved his goal through suggestion, without committing the direct crime for which the other was convicted.

This symbolic example clarifies how hidden direction can produce catastrophic results without apparent direct intervention.
